Federal Refunds
The IRS has put together a very helpful site where you can check the status of your return and refund. To check status, you need:
- Your Social Security Number
- Your Filing Status
- The exact amount of the refund you expect
The site is updated every 24 hours, so check back if you can’t locate your return.
State Refunds
Check with your state department of revenue if you are still awaiting a refund.
