Occasionally, I write about tax topics for other sites. Below is a preview of an article I wrote for Altitude Summit‘s blog.
If you sell products, you are required to collect sales tax and remit them to your state.
Sounds simple, no?
But which sales require sales tax? What if you sell in multiple states? Does it change if you visit another state to sell goods at a craft fair or art show? How frequently do you send in the tax you’ve collected?
Every state is different, so be sure to consider your unique personal situation!
